Trained and qualified as a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales in London, United Kingdom, he is also a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.
He worked in the United Kingdom and in Malaysia with one of the leading international accounting firm in public practice before moving to work in multi-national companies. He was also the head of Internal Audit of a local bank and developed the total audit approach for a local insurance company.
He has vast experience in investigations, IT audit, risk and governance evaluation and assessment and implementation of systems.
